wait a second...
maybe i am dreaming,
because a guy like you would never date
a girl like me.

i'm quiet and shy.
i'm fat and i'm short.
i have glasses and braces.
people think of me as a dork.

everyday i pass by you
in those halls,
but you don't notice me
like the way i notice you.

maybe one day, things
will be different.
maybe one day, you will notice me
and see me for who i actually am.

meant to be~just us, in our own two worlds.
we met and then
became close friends.  
possibly, in the future we maybe something more

but i guess for now,
this is what was meant to be.

and downs

but i guess, the way things are now,
us being close friends,
is what is meant to be.
